NSW: Police seize cannabis plants in state s north
Police have charged two men after discovering more than $150,000 worth of cannabis
plants at a home in northern New South Wales.
They say officers from the Tweed Heads Target Action Group seized the plants at a home
in Bilambil Heights, west of Tweed Heads on Friday.
Police say the plants were being grown hydroponically in a double garage and had a
street value of $154,000 and they have also confiscated Cannabis growing equipment worth
$10,000.
A police spokesman says an 18-year-old Bilambil Heights man will appear in Tweed Heads
Local Court on April 30 charged with cultivating and possessing cannabis.
A 28-year-old man from Kirra will face charges of cultivating cannabis, in the same
court on May 7.
