FED:Meldrum takes "baby steps" to recovery

Fans are continuing to show their support for music legend MOLLY MELDRUM with St Kilda
giving them a chance to sign a get well book during a training session.

MELDRUM's beloved AFL club trained at their old Moorabbin ground today and arranged
for fans to be able to sign the book there.

It comes as MELDRUM makes some small steps towards recovery, after opening his eyes
several times while under sedation in hospital.

His sedation was reduced overnight but he remains in an induced coma following a fall
at his Melbourne home on Thursday.

Tomorrow at 11am (AEDT), Melbourne's Federation Square will show SMS messages of support
for MELDRUM on its big screen and send the messages to The Alfred hospital.

between 9am and 12.30pm.
