SYDNEY, Jan 10 AAP - Greens Senator Bob Brown today called on Australians to tell thePrime Minister they oppose the idea of war with Iraq.

"We need everybody to speak up now to John Howard, to disentangle his mind from thisinevitable course of going to war with George W Bush," Senator Brown told reporters inSydney today.

"The damage within Australia and in the long term to Australia, by such things as increasedvulnerability to terrorism, have to be taken into account."
