NSW: Dead family found in their beds
Police say a 29-year-old woman and her two young children murdered near Wollongong
were found in their beds.
The woman's de facto husband says he found her amd their two sons, aged four and 16
months, in the West Dapto home by about 6 pm yesterday.
New South Wales Police say the baby was in his cot, the four-year-old boy was in a
single bed, and their mother was in a double bed when they were found.
The three bodies were taken to Glebe Morgue in Sydney, and post mortem examinations
are being conducted today.
Police say the 39-year-old de facto husband of six years is a fitter who works in Campbelltown
in Sydney's south west.
He was taken to hospital last night for routine medical tests.
Local police say there were no signs of forced entry to the premises.
They say the children were last seen alive on Sunday, when neighbours saw them playing
in the street.
Strike Force Pulham which was established to investigate the deaths, comprises eight
detectives and five uniformed police under the guidance of Crime Agencies.
