Fed: Green groups at odds over decision to reject ETS =6

Family First's Steve Fielding maintains there are many scientists who do not accept
that climate change is being caused by human activity.

"There are plenty of scientists ... I've seen 2,000 or more in America that have signed
a document saying that they're disputing it," Senator Fielding said.

Senator Fielding said the Rudd government should wait until after UN climate talks
in Copenhagen in December before settling on a scheme, warning Australia could be worse
off if it acted too early.

"We could lock ourselves in and find ourselves on a bit of an island and then worse off."
